In an announcement released by the vice-chancellor for cultural and extracurricular activities of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) and by the cooperation of other cultural centers of the university, the death anniversary of Imam Khomeini will be held at Ibn Sina Conference Hall at 2-4 p.m. on June 1, 2008.
It also mentions that “On the 19th death anniversary of Imam Khomeini and in the year of innovation and prosperity, the professors, students and employees of TUMS will gather to renew their promise with the high aspiration of that great man who called for the solidarity of the Moslem world". "Our hearts being full of his love and his memories, we will hold the anniversary”.
