Professor Gabriel Vital-Durand accompanied by the staff from World Health Organization (WHO) Office in Iran visited the Medical Ethics and History of Medicine Research Center of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) on May 5, 2010. The visit, attended by the vice-chancellor for research, Dr. Fotouhi, and the center's faculties and Ph.D. students, included talks on medical ethics from the early days of conception, medical ethics in clinical trials and futility.
