TUMSPR News: The chancellor for Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Dr. Bagher Larijani, introduced the four distinguished professors of the University, Dr. Fereidoun Davaci being one of them, based on the decision made by the Council for the selection of distinguished professors in August 2010.
Dr. Bagher Larijani, the chancellor for Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), introduced the four distinguished professors of the University, Dr. Fereidoun Davaci, Dr. Ardeshir Ghavamzadeh, Dr. Kazem Mohammad and Dr. Bahador Alamiharandi, based on the decision made by the Council for the selection of distinguished professors in August 2010.
Achieving 300 points from the publication of original articles in national and international scientific databases, registration of patents, and innovation in education during full professorship period were the items necessary for the promotion of faculty members to this academic degree. Being a full professor for at least 15 years had been one of the criteria for such selection.
Dr. Fereidoun Davechi, born in 1939, studied medicine in Paris Medical School in 1957-1965 and got Board Certificate of Rheumatology in the same institution in 1965-1968.
