TUMSPR News: TUMS Chancellor Dr. Bagher Larijani in a recent speech has emphasized on the need for a change in the dispensing models for medications in a symposium participated by the food and drug authorities on August 7, 2010.
In the symposium held on August 7, 2010 for the food and drug executives of two regions of the country, Dr. Bagher Larijani satisfactorily evaluated food and drug as two important domains in the health sector which is in a far better position than Middle-Eastern countries.
The chancellor emphasized on new models for provision of medications to patients that cuts the need for commuting in cities and relives their anxieties too as 30% of the health services involve this domain of health.
He then referred to the long-wished establishment of a Food and Drug Administration that will help remove the obstacles in this domain and informed about the positive outlook in the Ministry of Health for its materialization.
