TUMSPR: The 22nd International Pediatrics Congress will held by TUMS Children's Medical Center in October 2010.
Based on a report by TUMS Children Medical Center the annual international pediatrics congress will be held at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in October 2010.
In 1985, the Department of Pediatrics of TUMS School of Medicine organized a series of conferences to increase the knowledge of practicing physicians in the field. Having invited a few guest speakers from abroad and the success of the conferences brought up the idea of organizing a pediatrics congress with international contributions. Since then an annual international congress on Pediatric diseases has been being held in Tehran with participation of renowned specialists from all over the world and it has served as a resourceful medium for interaction between pediatricians. The 22nd International Congress will be held in October 2010.
