Tehran University of Medical Sciences/ public relations: Dr. Vaseyi research deputy of health minister today, Saturday 8th of September 2007, had a visit from national museum of medical sciences history.
In this visit Dr. Vaseyi was welcomed by the Dr. Larijani chancellor of Tehran university of medical sciences and his accompanying delegate.
Dr. Fotuhi vice chancellor of the university for research, Dr. Gatmiri manager of public relations office, and Dr. Aramesh deputy of research center of medical ethics and history of medicine in this visit presented necessary information to Dr. Vaseyi research deputy of health minister to become more familiar with the activities of these departments of the university.
Research center of medical ethics and history of medicine is a scientific affiliated department of research deputy of Tehran university of medical sciences which is working in close contact with Iranian national museum of history of medicine.
Museum of Medical Sciences History also as a cultural division of Tehran university of medical sciences has been designed with collaboration of Iran's ministry of health and medical education to serve as a source of attractive documents, not only for medical students demanding historical information but also every interested person particularly researchers, cultural tourists and academic delegates from the other Iranian or international universities.
