Tehran University of Medical Sciences/ public relations: Quran & Prayer Culture must be spread among students, Dr. Larijani explained.
We are at the beginning of the Ramazan month & this is the opportunity for striving to elevate prayer culture in university as much as possible. As the Supreme leader of our country, Ayatollah seyyed Ali Khamenei, expressed, Tehran University of medical sciences is a symbol of high education in our country. We should strive for achieving success in cultural dimensions, Dr. Larijani stated.
There are 150 specialized & high specialized training programs in our university & 50% of total Ph.D. students are studying in Tehran University of medical sciences, Dr. Larijani announced.
It is several years that in research area most of scientific products was developed with efforts of our young researcher in Tehran University of medical sciences, he added.
In addition to training & treatment index, we have cultural prominent successes and it is our difference with other universities in the world, he expressed.
Prayer is an undeniable issue & prayer culture must spread in Islamic societies & we must develop conditions that make the students understand Quran, he emphasized.
Mosques and chapels are essential segments of university and not separated. Because of this, we request hospitals and faculties solve problems of the chapels and try to revive prayer culture, Dr. Larijani said.
Using perfume and nice odors in the chapels is necessary, and this needs cooperation of coordinators of mosques, he emphasized.
We need financial aids to revive mosques and chapels, and we should follow all the steps taken in this way by means of the university council related to Quran and its cognition, he explained.
