Tehran University of Medical Sciences / Public relations: chancellor of university in the Cultural council session emphasized on necessity of university for developing Quranic culture to promote spiritual level in university and develop of student’s Quranic activities.
On Tuesday, 9th September 2007, the Cultural council of university with presence of chancellor of university approved to form Quran supreme council in Tehran University of Medical sciences.
To develop Quranic culture in university, we need cooperation of faculty members of university and their attendance in Quranic activities, Dr. Larijani emphasized
In this session with attention to necessity (requirement) of university atmosphere to development and promotion of Quranic activities, a council as Quran supreme council was formed. This new council consists of chancellor of university, representative of the supreme leader foundation in the university, student-cultural affairs vice chancellor, cultural affairs manager, manager of public relations office, 2 professors, 2 interested students, deputy of university jihad, and education & health vice chancellors of the university as well as dean of medical faculty, 4 experts of Quran activities.
They are responsible for developing and promoting Quranic activities.
In continuation, he expressed thanks to student-cultural deputy and Quran societies activities in the university.
We must support these activities and have effort towards their development, but these supports shouldn’t limit students self-grown activities and also should cause promotion of these activities.
This council should have a secretariat for pursuing policies and fulfillment of them, he proposed.
