Tehran University of Medical Science/public relations: Saturday 15th of September 2007, "White Uniform" ceremony was held in Ebne Sina Auditorium of Medical Faculty with attendance of the enthusiastic students and their professors.
"White Uniform" ceremony is a custom for honoring the students their enterance to clinical courses.
Since several years ago, this ceremony was held in Tehran University of Medical Sciences as a symbol of respecting the dignity of medical practice .
In this ceremony, Dr. Imami Razavi (chancellor of Medical Faculty), Dr. Purmand university professor and owner of title "imanent feature of medical sciences ", Dr. Jaafarian (Faculty of surgery department and medical ethics research center) had speeches about the importance of understanding the responsibility of a physician.
"Medical practice is a profession for relieveing pain of patients, and attending happiness of those who have recovered from the disease." Dr. Purmand reminded every students in his speech and wished them success in their future medical career.
At the end of this ceremony, the medical white uniform was donated to one of medical students as the representative of the group by Dr. Pourmand.
