Premier Medical Students of TUMS Were Appreciated in an Academic Celebration

TUMS/PRNS: Best students of the medical school of Tehran university of medical sciences in both categories of undergraduate and postgraduate levels were introduced in a ceremony held in Avecinna hall of medical school in wednesday 13th of June, 2007.
In this ceremony the best students of medical faculty in various levels were present and their families met with the authorities of medical school incuding Dr.Emami Razavi dean of this faculty and also some of university principals like Dr. Keshavarz who had a speech in this ceremony and Hojaul-eslam Eesa zadeh reprentative of supreme leader's foundation in TUMS .
Superior residents of different medical specialties who are working in clinical wards of medical school in the TUMS hospitals were also appreciated in this ceremony .
Dr. Keshavarz vice chancellor of the university for deputy of education in his lecture said: There are some new plans to decrease the duration of "Basic Sciences" period before initiating the medical education for the students entering Tehran university of medical sciences. He added that the suggested solely basic non-clinical course for the new students will not be longer than 6 months according to these new plans.
Dr.Razavi dean of this faculty was the other lecturer of this celebration who admired the efforts of the premier students and said: As a matter of fact in TUMS all the students are best and superior because they are selected as the elite of the Iran's entrance exam among all of the high school graduates throughout the country.
Dr. Malekzade president of Shariati hospital of TUMS also had a speech in this ceremony and took part in the final prize donation program of the celebration. Dr. Pasalar manager of Elite students office of the university was present in this final session of the ceremony.
In this ceremony the awarded medical students of the academic Quran competions were also introduced.
