TUMSPR News: Dr. Bagher Larijani, the chancellor for Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) recently made some new appointments at the highest positions of the university.
The chancellor for Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Dr. Bagher Larijani, recently made some new appointments at the highest positions of the university. Dr. Fatemeh Naieri, an associate professor and a pediatrician with a post-doctoral degree in neonatology replaced Dr. Ali Jafarian, an associate professor who was the dean of TUMS Faculty of Medicine for the past one and a half years. Jafarian himself was later appointed as the chancellor’s consultant. In addition, Dr. Ali Arab Kheradmand, a surgeon and executive consultant of the chancellor was appointed to the head of the international branch of TUMS on Kish Island and Dr. Seyed Amir-Hossein Imami, an oncologist will help with the affairs of faculty members at School of Medicine.
Dr. Matzieh Vahid Dastjerdi was the former head of the international branch of the university on Kish Island before her new responsibility to serve as the state's Health Minister.
