Tehran University of Medical Sciences/ public relations: Health minister participated in first ceremony for glorifying charitable persons of Imam Khomeini Hospital complex last Tuesday, 4th of September 2007.
Last year, for expanding hospital, the charitable spent 15 billion Rials and also, 30 billion Rials was spent from governmental budget, Dr. Lankarani announced.
In our country, medical treatment ought not to depend upon wealth, he emphasized.
Since Health ministry was established, it has an important task. This task is establishment of health charity institution, and with our persistency its bill was presented to the government, he reminded.
Since about one year ago, in most universities, health charity club was established, and also, with establishing of charity organization of country, we will have better cooperation with charitable persons, he announced.
This ceremony was held on 13th of Shahrivar 1386, in Imam Auditorium of Imam Khomeini hospital complex, for glorifying charitable persons of this Hospital .
Dr. Lankarani, Health minister, Dr. Larijani, chancellor of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Dr. Rezaei, chairman of Health Commission of Parliament, Mr. Nayyeri, chairman of charity committee of the university, Dr. Rostamiyan, manager of Imam Khomeini hospital complex, as well as a great crowd of charitable persons, professors, and patients who were recovered by aid of charitable activities, presented.
