Establishment of the Manifesto of CDFMIC

TUMS Public Relations News Service: "Common manifesto" of the first international conference of deans of medical faculties of Islamic countries was admitted by 23 countries attending CDFMIC.
According to our correspondant's report the closing ceremony of the conference started at 15:30 local time of Kish island thursday 31st of May,2007 in the main hall of conference, with presence of the health minister of Iran, high rank academic delegates of 22 Islamic countries and TUMS chancellor, Dr Mobashar sheikh director of WHO, Dr Sadry director of ISESCO, Mr Shayeste supreme director of Governer in free zone of Kish and some other participants from the largest medical universities of Islamic Republic of Iran.
All the main topics of the conference and the results of discussions being held during three days of CDFMIC were reflected in the "Common manifesto" of the conference .
As it's emphasized in this agreement of the Islamic countries, the creation of a powerful common scientific network is a neccesity towards development of further cooperations in medical fields among the world of Islam and facilitation of open learning.
Establishing new collaborative projects for defining the basis of "Islamic Medical Ethics" was another prominent axis of this agreemeng .
In another part of the manifesto of CDFMIC the participating countries put the emphasis on developing a comprehensive system of "Scientific Ranking" that will be compatible with international standards too, and will help the Islamic countries improve their education and research qualities.
From the point of execution of these agreements, a web based common portal has been defined in the manifesto to connect every member of the CDFMIC around the globe and to montor the advance of the programmes.
Probably the most wonderful aspect of this "Common Manifesto" of the Islamic countries attending the first CDFMIC, and also mostly appreciable one was the special attention to the concept of justice as the main basis of Islamic ideology for life and the necessity of considering every Muslim's right to have access to an acceptable level of health services.
At the end of the first CDFMIC attendants were asked to do their utmost efforts to accomplish the established tasks of every member until the second conference.
The second conference of CDFMIC according to the approval of the participating countries in the first conference closing ceremony will be held in Sudan, one of the largest Islamic countris of Africa.
