Dr. Dastjerdi emphasized on creating a database for Islamic medical schools

TUMS Public Relations News Service: In the first conference of deans of medical schools of Islamic countries, Dr. Vahid Dastjerdi, TUMS director of international affairs emphasized on creating a database among Islamic countries.


Dr. Vahid Dastjerdi added in her speech: "TUMS is one of the few universities in the world that works on education and delivering services simultaneously.

She said: "We could reach out to the detailed information of the medical education only in about 30 Islamic countries out of the all 57 countries worldwide, and invited their deans of medical schools and this is a good sign that indicates nessecity of establishment of a an effective scientific network in the world of Islam.

Of these countries 23 replied us in the predicted deadline and accepted our invitation for joining the CDFMIC in Kish Island, Iran.

Dr. Dastjerdi expressed hopes that knowledge sharing among Islamic countries would lead to a strong union among them and this seminar can help pave this way.
