TUMSPR News: A delegation composed of the authorities from the Belorussian Academy of Sciences visited Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) Endocrinology and Metabolism Research Center and laboratory for scientific cooperation on Thursday morning November 19, 2009.
A delegation composed of the authorities of the Belorussian National Academy of Sciences, including the general director for the state’s Scientific and Production Association, Dr. Diodor Lakhvich, the head of Laboratory of Protein Hormone Chemistry, Dr. Oleg Sviridov, and the head of Laboratory of Steroid Chemistry, Dr. Vladimir Khripach, met with the head the center’s laboratory, Dr. Parvin Pasalar and the head of TUMS International Affairs, Dr. Ghazi-khansari to assess the opportunities for the development of bilateral ties on November 19, 2009.
The group visited the center’s laboratory before signing a memorandum of understanding.
The memorandum provides opportunities for student and faculty exchange, and exchange of scholarly material: Scientific, research, education and production of bio-organic kits.
