Some key messages on diabetes conveyed by posters produced to promote awareness about the disease

TUMSPR News: On February 14, 2008, in Iran and rest of the world Diabetes Day was observed. One of the tools to reach people was through production of posters to convey the messages which are keys to awareness about the disease.
The messages included:
“50% of people with diabetes do not know they have it”
“Diabetes hits the poorest hardest”
“50% of people with diabetes do not know they have it”
“Every 10 seconds a person dies of diabetes”
“To do nothing is no longer an option”
“Every 10 seconds a person dies of diabetes” (1).
Let's help no child undergo damages of diabetes and let's know the signs of diabetes (2).
