Zahra Ashena, Dr. Sorush Ghafurian and Dr. M. Ali Ehsani evaluated 29 patients with normal left ventricular systolic function. Statistical analysis showed no significant association between diastolic indices and serum ferritin concentration, but the results were quite different when comparing patients above or below 15 years of age. The association was noticeable in patients above 15.
