Professor Steven Alan Newman Visits TUMS Farabi Hospital

TUMSPR News: Professor Steven Alan Newman, a well-known ophthalmologist and faculty member of the University of Virginia visited Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) Farabi Hospital’s clinics, research centers and operating rooms before carrying out his speech on October 22, 2009.

According to TUMS Farabi Hospital’s Public Relations report, Professor Steven Alan Newman, a well-known ophthalmologist and faculty member of the University of Virginia visited Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) Farabi Hospital’s clinics, research centers and operating rooms before giving a speech entitled “Neuro-ophthalmic Diagnostic Delay” at Professor Shams’ Conference Hall.

Professor Newman, a member of the editorial board of some reputed neuro-ophthalmology journals, is famous for orbital surgeries. He has also published numerous research papers in this field.
