TUMS News: Malaysia's health minister, Dr. Chua Soi Led and his accompanying delagation visited some of TUMS Research Centers during their travel to Tehran.
Malaysia’s high rank health delegation that had a journey to Tehran to discuss scientific collaborations and bilateral ties with the Islamic Republic of Iran in April 2007 visited AIDS research center in Imam Khomeini hospital, bone marrow transplant center in Shariati hospital, and Tehran Heart Center. They also received some information on the visited centers and their facilities in order to get more familiar with TUMS and its facilities and equipments as a sample of scientific development in our Islamic country.
According to the english editor of NEDA magazine who has also a special report on this occasion in the next issue of this magazine: " it would be of great importance for both countries to have a brief picture of scientific developments in different fields, and along with the same purpose, Malaysia’s health minister, Dr. Chua Soi Led made this travel to Iran last month. In his visit to Iran, he had devoted one day to get familiar with Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Health Services, in which he met TUMS headquarters and visited some important research centers of our university."
