In a letter to Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) chancellor, Dr. Bagher Larijani, the Minister of Health and Medical Education, Dr. Lankarani, has expressed his consent for the establishment of four research centers. These centers include: Research Centers for Basic Electrophysiology, Blistering Autoimmune Diseases, Sports Medicine and New Tech and Invasive Radiology.
TUMS already has 47 research centers.
