Iran Health Vice-minister, TUMS Vice-chancellor Meet to Consult Some Major Health Issues

TUMSPR News: Dr. Imami-Razavi, Iran health vice-minister, and Dr. Abolhassani, TUMS vice-chancellor for health met to discuss some major health issues, including H1N1.
Dr. Imami-Razavi, the vice-minister for Health, Dr. Farid Abolhassani, the vice-chancellor for health of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Dr. Pourman, the head of Sina Hospital, Dr. Masoumi, the head of emergencies at the ministry and some other officials of the hospital met at Sina Hospital at the southern part of Tehran, Iran to discuss the promotion of emergency ward patient satisfaction, establishment of a new integrated care unit for the hospitalization of higher numbers of acutely ill patients and preparations for a probable H1N1 influenza virus epidemic.
Dr. Abolhassani had called for preparations to better cope with hospital admissions five times bigger than normal conditions for a probable H1N1 influenza virus epidemic at the meeting held by the chancellor and the heads of TUMS hospitals on September 6th, 2009.
