Tehran University of Medical sciences, public relations news service: In this session, It was debated about the last rules and regulations changes of Ninth Ebne Sina Festival in which attended chancellor, faculty, research deputy authorities, and other members of judges council.
This session in the seventh day of Ramadan started with several verses of Holy Quran. Dr. Larijani in his speech in this session reminded the importance of this festival and its effects on research trends and also scientific culture propagation in the university and national atmosphere. This year, we organized judges council sessions sooner to consider festival's regulations more in detailes and prepare a more desirable outcome of holding this festival with necessary changes: he said.
He also added: Last year the festival absorbed national attention with introdution of some nominees from the other medical sciences universities which had beneficial effects and this year we will continue this policywith cooperation of health ministry.
So, we will introduce selected best professors of medical sciences universitiesof the country in this festival.
This report indicates, Then Dr. Keshavarz,vice chancellor of education explained about suggested changes of rewards presentation and information delivery method in Ninth Festival.
He said :This year, holding this festival was announced through a particular web based network that candidates can send their evidences through it.
He added: to estimate candidates resume that is necessary they must be known as real or legal persons.
He referred to variety of Festival's rewards and said: To have a better competition as much as possible the awards will be presented to grades in various age groups.
He said that suggested changes of regulations expressed by 112 of last year attendants and result of their suggestions propounded to judges council.
He added: This year Ebne Sina special reward remains valid and it will be presented to one of prominent faculty members in civil atmosphere by a shared decision with health ministry: the namination letter will be sent to universities signed by chancellor of Tehran university and health minister so that every university can introduce their candidates.
Than he referred to ten rewards of "Jorjani" Iranian historical philosopher and said: This year Jorjani philosopher's rewards will be presented to four members of faculty of medical sciences faculty, one member of dentistry, pharmacology, nursing and midwifery ,health,and allied medical sciences faculties.
He also added: Medical training reward is another prize which will be presented to the person has been propounded worthy services in this field.
In continuation, He referred to 5 rewards as university's pioneers, one distinguished reward, student reward, superior deputy reward and continued: various rewards will be presented beside research rewards in Ninth Ebne Sina festival to appreciate research and educative efforts of faculty members.
He also pointed: The reward of ethics will be given to those with outstanding ethical features in university.
This report indicates in another part of session Dr. Emami, consultant of faculty assistant, referred to more accurate criteria suggested to present rewards and explained more about criteria to the members of judges council.
