TUMSPR News: Iranian Health Minister, Dr. Vahid-dastjerdi and TUMS Chancellor, Dr. Bagher Larijani, inaugurated Farabi Ophthalmologic Hospital’s Stem Cell Preparation Unit and Visionary Sciences Research Center on February 8, 2010.
Dr. Vahid-dastjerdi, the Health Minister and former faculty of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), and Dr. Bagher Larijani, the Chancellor, inaugurated Farabi Ophthalmologic Hospital’s Stem Cell Preparation Unit and Visionary Sciences Research Center on February 8, 2010.
Different wards of the unit, the genetics and chemistry laboratories, skill lab and Students Research Center were visited by the attendees and the authorities of the Hospital.
After months of hard work and dedication, the inauguration brought a relief to Dr. Jabarvand, the head of the Hospital, Dr. Khoshzaban, the director of the Stem-cell Preparation Unit and the hardworking personnel of the Hospital.
