TUMSPR News: On the 4th day of the 3rd semester on laser fellowship in dentistry, a meeting was held between Tehran University of Medical Sciences(TUMS) School of Dentistry authorities and the representatives of Akhen University, Germany.
According to a report by the Public Relations of TUMS Dentistry School, a meeting was held between the school's authorities and the representatives of Akhen University on November 3, 2009. This day marked the 4th day of the third semester of LASER fellowship in the school which is run by both parties. A group of LASER professors from Akhen University of (the RWTH group) were present in the meeting. The head of the group Dr. Norbert Gut Knecht, is the head of World LASER Federation in dentistry too.
The importance of bilateral cooperation between the two universities was emphasized at the meeting being hosted by Dr. Monzavi, the dean, Dr. Ghazi Khansari, the head of TUMS International Relations Office and Dr. Fekrazad, the conductor of the course. Both sides hoped to continue similar cooperation in the future to develop scientific and research partnership in the field of LASER in dentistry.
