TUMS Public Relations Manager Encourages PR Affiliates to Boost their Activities for a Decent 75th Year Anniversary Celebration

TUMSPR News: The manager of TUMS Public Relations Office, Dr. Seyed Mansour Gatmiri, called the objective of celebrating the anniversary, a decent reflection of the great roles the state’s oldest higher education institute has played in the past 75 years.


Dr. Seyed Mansour Gatmiri, the manager for Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) Public Relations Office, in the meeting participated by the chancellor, Dr. Bagher Larijani and more than 70 affiliate PRs and alumni office members, called the objective of celebrating the anniversary, a move to decently reflect the great roles that the state’s oldest higher education institute has played in the past 75 years.

Later on, Dr. Gatmiri said “I thank God that the idea put forward for the formation of a PR network across the university by the chancellor has now blossomed and we are able to document all events efficiently and make up-to-the-minute news packages and get in touch with the audience inside the university, in the country or in the world by our English site that is developing under the supervision of our colleagues. Now we are planning to activate PRs of research centers and hospitals to have an optimum coverage of the university.

The secretary of TUMS Alumni Office, Dr. Gatmiri, also hinted at the efforts and difficulties leading to the formation of the office under Dr. Bahadori, and said “I hope the office will evolve into a state that a university as old and important as TUMS deserves”.

Later on the affiliate PR members of TUMS shared their experiences and talked about the programs they had prepared for the anniversary.
