TUMSPR News: Dr. Larijani, TUMS’ Chancellor, called achieving a rank below 500 by the university an honor.
Dr. Larijani, at the meeting on the connections between basic and clinical sciences held at the main conference hall of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) headquarters, expressed his opinion on the rank achieved jointly by TUMS and University of Tehran (UT) among world universities and he believed it was a good reason to feel pride for.
The chancellor added the achievement had been a step forward and a point to enter the international arena. He hoped the two universities to achieve higher ranks in the near future. The rank has been published by Quacquarelli Symonds (Q.S.) and Time Higher Education (THE) for 2008. The evaluation has covered around 6000 universities worldwide.
