Tehran university of medical sciences has prepared an acceptable level of sport facilities for every attendig student and faculty member that is distributed in 9 sport halls and stadiums.
Fathi gymnasium named after a martyr of imposed war from the university has been designed for basketball, vollyball, and other indoor sports and is one of these sport halls.
There are four other gymnasiums that have special programs in aerobic, contact sports, roller skating, table tennis and body building. Also there are 3 halls for some other indoor and outdoor sports and one standard football stadium called Chamran after the martyred professor of the university who was in charge of revolutionary combats during and after Islamic revolution of Iran.
