Tehran University of Medical Sciences/ Public Relations News Service: The 7th sports Olympiad chess competitions of Iranian medical sciences universities for men terminated by championship of Tehran University of Medical Sciences’ chess team.

According to the report of physical education administration of the university, the 7th sports Olympiad chess games of medical sciences universities of Iran, resulted in championship of Tehran University of Medical Sciences’ chess team.

These contests were held between 26 chess teams from all over the country & chess team of Tehran University of Medical Sciences could win the first position at the final competition table by achieving 25 points & defeating the medical sciences universities’ teams of: Ahvaz, Tabriz, Behzisti, Shiraz, Shahid Beheshti, Kerman, Mashhad, Iran & Hamedan.

Teams of Behzisti university (22.5) & Mashhad university of medical sciences (22) gained the second & the third titles. Additionally, in individual part, Mahdi Madandar & Aliakbar Hosseinmardi won gold & silver medals.
