Tehran University of Medical Sciences / English news service: Dr. Larijani promises the inauguration of a reference laboratory for composite materials at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in two weeks’ time.
Professor Larijani, TUMS’ chancellor, in a news press held on December 26, 2007, promised the opening of a reference laboratory in two weeks’ time. “Such a laboratory has not been established in Iran and this would be the first one to quality control the materials produced domestically or imported from other countries”, he quoted.
Seperately, he pointed out that the national laboratory for the influenza virus at the Faculty of Public Health was ready for service for health and preventive measures in the country. He added that this laboratory would be equipped with more advanced tools for tests of suspected cases of the disease.
