Non-Iranian Graduates and Students of Medical Sciences Universities Hold Their First Conference in Isfahan

TUMSPR News: The foreign students and graduates of Iran’s medical sciences universities held their first conference in Isfahan during May 7 – 9, 2008.
The main venue of the conference was giving graduation certificates to some of the participants and holding an exhibition named “Cultures of Nations” as a collateral activity. Different booths represented cultures from Yemen, Palestine, Lebanon and Syria. The exhibition was largely welcomed by people there.
Ten graduates and 34 students were from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS). Dr. Mohaghegh, and Dr. Azizi, respectively, the TUMS vice-chancellor for students and cultural affairs and the head of students’ international relations affairs of TUMS vice-chancellor for Education participated in educational Q & A panels.
Dr. Einallahi, the Ministry of Health’s deputy for education, the chancellor of Isfahan University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) and Dr. Hassanzadeh, the head of educational services of IUMS gave a lecture each at the gathering.
Ambassadors and attachés of aforementioned countries were in the conference too.
