The first national festival of woman’s inventions and innovations is to be held at the permanent site of Tehran’s International Trade Fairs, Aug 15-18.
The festival will be held with the cooperation of several Iranian ministries, state organizations and other NGOs.
It follows the goals of respecting a-quarter-of-a-century of valuable effort by women inventors and innovators, introducing a model of the world’s successful women in scientific fields, ensuring that women’s inventions are a source of revenue and generally empowering women to carry on their work. It also aims at implementing the economic projects of women inventors and innovators and creating generative occupations.
