The Islamic Development Bank Requests TUMS to Conduct Training for Malaria Managers from African Countries

TUMSPR News: Dr. El Bashir SallaM, the IDB’s senior Health expert, in a letter to Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) asks for holding Malaria training for Malraia Managers from African Countries.
The senior Health expert of IDB at Operations Planning and Services Department (OPSD), Dr. El BashIr Sallam, in his letter to TUMS anchorites has requested the University to conduct training for malaria managers for 21 people from African countries.
In his letter Dr. Sallam refers to their delegation visit to TUMS in April 2007 and the chancellor’s offer of help in this regard.
BANDAR-ABBAS International Malaria Research Center, established in 1956, which is a regional educational center and is under TUMS' Faculty of Public Health runs in cooperation with the World Health Organization, holds annual advanced course on malaria and practical education for foreign graduates and MPH students from other countries.
