Tehran University of Medical Sciences/ Public Relations News Service: Special ceremony for introduction of major participants in reconstrction project of Razi Hospital including goodwill dedicators from various business associations was held in Monday, 16th of July 2007, in the old location of this hospital with presence of vice chancellor of the university who attended it to show his admiration for this dedication.
Dr. Larijani in this meeting stated: About 20 to 30 thousands of patients with dermeatologic problems are visited monthly in Razi hospital clinics, many of them are admitted for further managemens.
He added: this clinical center of skin diseases has also been the most active academic center of Iran for teaching postgraduate dermatology courses, for many years.
He quoted despite the limitation of university budget in forthcoming year an amount of one thousand million rials has been considered for the construction project of the new Razi Hospital and we hope to be able to serve the people in need, more advanced and readily accessible medical services after this extention.
Dr. Larijan,i vice chancellor of Tehran University in his speech expressed thanks and appreciation to every participants in this ceremony especially representatives of the business unities who volunteer to support the project of reconstruction of Razi hospital financially, and the authorities of the hospital and faculty of medicine who took the preliminary steps and made the new hospital project enter the executional phase.
