TUMSPR News: The head of center for medical sciences studies and development at the Ministry of Health & Medical Sciences said that four new poles for medical sciences would be established.
The Children Hospital's public relations of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) reported that the head of center for medical sciences studies and development at the Ministry of Health & Medical Sciences, Dr. Nader Momtazmanesh said that research centers that meet the standards to turn to a scientific pole will be treated so. He said that two scientific poles for ophthalmology and urology at Labafinezjad Educational Hospital of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and one for pediatric diseases at TUMS Children Hospital and one more for nuclear medicine at TUMS Shariati Educational Hospital will be established.
Dr. Momtazmanesh added that “There is a plan for grading scientific pole s of the country regarding different fields of medicine and the standards are being prepared to evaluate them”.
