Tehran University of Medical Sciences/ Public Relations: Secretariat of specialized medical education council in ministry of health released the new version of board exams rules.
In this Annual version of examination rules planned for organizing the fifty fourth round of medical specialties and twenty first round of subspecialties board exams, the date of first step of national board exam has been determined August 23, 2007.
According to this report the board exams for various specialties and subspecialties will be performed simultaneously in two steps and the 2nd step including interview and oral evaluation will be done during 4-5 days after the first step.
A minimum of 70 percent score is necessary in both steps for every applicant to be certified.
The first step of board exams for all the specialties includes 100 multiple choice questions.
