Tehran University of Medical Sciences / English News Service: In the 13th Razi Medical Sciences Research Festival held in the previously used building of the IR Parliament, on January 5,2008, 18 out of 56 awards (> 32%) was won by researchers from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS).
In this festival accompanied by the first vice-president, Dr. Lankarani the Minister of Health and Medical Education, Dr. Larijani; TUMS’ chancellor, and participated by faculties of other medical universities and winners of the awards, TUMS researchers won 18 out of the 56 awards in different fields of medical sciences, basic and clinical.
Tehran University of Medical Sciences once again repeated gaining the first position among first rank universities of the state. TUMS has consecutively won this position for the past few years.
