TUMS Public Relations Wins the First Rank in Cultural Enhancement and Digital Health

TUMSPR: At the Electronic Hospital and Telemedicine Symposium held at Tehran University of Medical Sciences on October 11—12, 2010, the Public Relations website won the first rank in cultural enhancement and digital health.


The website of Public Relations of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) won the first rank in cultural enhancement and digital health at the Electronic Hospital and Telemedicine Symposium held on October 11—12, 2010.

In the symposium which hosted guests from the American Telemedicine Association (ATA), and the United States University of New Mexico and other Iranian academic universities and organizations, TUMS Public Relations website topped other rivals with 17500 pieces of news being viewed 7500,000 times and more than 130 health-related topics in its online health journal.

An appreciation plaque and a trophy were given to Dr. Seyed Mansoor Gatmiri, the manager of TUMS Public Relations who has transformed the institute’s traditionally-run Public Relations to a digital online media with its more than 70 affiliates throughout the University in the past five years, at the presence of Dr. Dale Alverson and Jon D. Linkous from the aforementioned association and University of New Mexico and those of the University.
