TUMSPR New: A parliament friendship group from Congo visited TUMS Farabi Ophthalmology Hospital on May 25, 2010.


Based on a report by the Public Relations of Farabi Ophthalmology Hospital, a parliament friendship group from Congo visited the Hospital affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences on May 25, 2010.

The guests were in Iran upon an invitation by Iran's parliament. They visited the hospital while being accompanied by some congressmen, the head of the Hospital, Dr. Djabarvand, the manager, Dr. Mokhtare and some other authorities.

The hospital is the largest hospital of its kind in the region and nearly all ophthalmological procedures are done in the center. The hospital has some research centers, including a newly inaugurated stem-cell research center.
