TUMSPR News: Journal of Tehran University Heart Center which is published by Tehran University of Medical Sciences has been indexed in the PubMed Central and PubMed, a service of the National Library of Medicine in 2011.
Based on the news dispatched by the Office for the Promotion of Journals, affiliated to the vice-chancellor for Research, the Journal of Tehran University Heart Center which is published by Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) has been indexed in the PubMed Central and PubMed, a service provided by the US National Library of Medicine.
This is the second time a journal which is published by a local publisher is indexed in PubMed.
PubMed Central is a digital database which provides full-text of biomedical and life science journals for free. PubMed Central was developed by the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and grew from the online Entrez PubMed biomed search system.
With links to the full-texts of many articles, PubMed comprises more than 21 million citations for biomedical literature.
