TUMSPR News: Dr. Reza Malekzadeh is amongst the top one percent scientists of the world in the field of clinical medicine in the latest release of the Essential Science Indicators for September 2011.
Based on the report by the Office for Scientometrics of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Dr. Reza Malekzadeh has been included amongst the top one percent scientists of the world in the field of clinical medicine in the latest release of the Essential Science Indicators for September 2011.
Dr. Malekzadeh is the fourth person with high citations from TUMS to be included in the list of top 1% scientist in the field of clinical medicine.
The four TUMS faculty members with highest citations are Dr. Mohammad Abdollahi with 2449 citations and a world rank of 455 in pharmacology and toxicology, Dr. Mohammad Reza Zarindast with 1614 citations and world rank of 1798 in pharmacology and toxicology and 3542nd rank in neuroscience and behavior, Dr. Reza Malekzadeh with 1591 citations in clinical medicine and Dr. Ahmad Reza Dehpour with 1401 citations and a world rank of 1755 in pharmacology and toxicology.
The former Health Minister, Dr. Malekzadeh, is presently the head of TUMS Digestive Diseases Research Center.
