TUMSPR News: Journal of Dentistry published by Tehran University of Medical Sciences has been indexed in the PubMed Central and PubMed which is a service of the National Library of Medicine in 2011.
Based on the news by the Office for the Promotion of TUMS Journals which is affiliated to the vice-chancellor for Research, the Journal of Dentistry of Tehran University of Medical Sciences which is published by the University has been indexed in the PubMed Central and PubMed, a service of the US National Library of Medicine in 2011.
This would be the first time a journal which is published by a local publisher, the University, is indexed in PubMed.
Developed by the National Library of Medicine (NLM), PubMed Central is a digital database which provides full-text of biomedical and life science journals free of charge. It grew from the online Entrez PubMed biomed search system.
PubMed comprises more than 21 million citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full-text content from PubMed Central and publisher web sites.
