TUMSPR News: Professor Hania Szajewska, chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of Warsaw, visited TUMS Children's Medical Center on April 16, 2011.
According to the news by the Public Relations of Children's Medical Center affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), Professor Hania Szajewska, chair of the Department of Pediatrics at the Medical University of Warsaw, Poland, visited the Center on April 16, 2011.
Professor Hania Szajewska who is a member of the European Society for Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition (ESPGHAN) Council and the secretary of the ESPGHAN Committee on Nutrition gave a lecture on probiotics and prebiotics , the effects of early dietary intervention to reduce allergy ,and diarrheal diseases for an audience composed of medical doctors and nurses. After the lecture she visited some wards and laboratory of the Hospital where she admired the amount of work done there to equip the Center and to serve the patients. [H]
