Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Rodjhan, the Provost Medical Histologist, Passes Away

TUMSPR News: Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Rodjhan, the provost histologist of Tehran University of Medical Sciences passed away on Saturday May 7, 2011.
Dr. Mohammad Sadegh Rodjhan, the provost medical histologist who was born in Shiraz in 1931 and obtained his degree in medicine in 1965 and later became a full-professor at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) in 1989 passed away on Saturday May 7, 2011 due to cardiac problems.
Dr. Rodjhan was selected as one of the best faculties in the country in 1989 and his efforts made him a “lasting national figure” in science in 2001. Rodjhan was a dedicated author of histology and had grown interests in medicinal herbs and medical ethics which bore fruit when he published books on the subjects. He also published books on medical embryology, medical histology and also authored a prĂ©cis of Avicenna’s Canon of Law in Medicine, Atlas of Diseases for Pathologists, etc.
