TUMSPR News: The Iranian Journal of Psychiatry which is published by TUMS Psychiatry and Psycology Research Center has been indexed in Scopus.
The Iranian Journal of Psychiatry which is published in English by Psychiatry and Psychology Research Center affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) has been indexed in Scopus. At the present time, Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of research literature.
Although the research center, headed by Dr. Mohammad-Reza Mohammadi, was established in 2004 but it is located in Rouzbeh Psychiatry Hospital which is the birthplace of modern psychiatry in Iran. The research center has a good record in knowledge production and it has published 218 articles in foreign and 210 in domestic scientific journals in the past few years. Supporting 87 dissertations in graduate and postgraduate degrees,, publication of 45 books and conduction of 124 projects are the fruit of efforts put forward by the faculties and students at the research center which has been selected as one of the best research centers at the university and in Iran in the past five years at Avicenna and Razi Research Festivals.
