TUMSPR News: UNHCR’s Regional Public Information (PI) Officer, Ms. Ariane Rummery, who was in Iran during from April 4 to 14, 2011 visited TUMS Firouzgar Hospital as part of her mission for preparing reports on the situation of refugees in the country, the assistance they receive.
The Regional Public Information (PI) Officer for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Ms. Ariane Rummery, who was in Iran during from April 4 to 14, 2011 visited Firouzgar Hospital affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) as part of her mission for preparing reports on the situation of refugees in Iran and the assistance they receive and their needs.
As a routine UNHCR practice, Regional PI Officers try to regularly visit the countries they cover, to prepare text photos or video stories for UNHCR publications and video channels.
Ms. Rummery had visited Firouzgar General Hospital last year when she had made movies on the education of refugees and temporary work permits they received.
This year’s subjects included items such as refugees’ health, displacements, repatriations, human stories, etc.
